General Manager, Modular Manufacture

About the role

We are launching a brand‑new modular manufacturing facility in Sharjah and need a founding General Manager to build the operation from the ground up. This greenfield position offers the chance to shape the culture, processes and team that will drive the factory’s long‑term success.

Key responsibilities

• Take full P&L responsibility for the manufacturing site.
• Lead production, planning, supply‑chain and all site‑based functions.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery and cost performance.
• Implement manufacturing strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee continuous‑improvement and lean initiatives.
• Build, develop and succession‑plan the senior site leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and governance requirements.
• Supervise supporting functions such as HR and accounting.

Required profile

• Senior manufacturing leader from a regulated sector.
• Proven end‑to‑end production operations experience.
• Strong background in operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Commercially astute with budget and KPI management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to influence at all organisational levels.
• Track record of building high‑performing teams and developing leadership capability.
• Comfortable working in secure, compliance‑driven environments.
• Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or manufacturing.
