About the role

AppliedAI is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead internal IT operations across its UAE and APAC offices. This hands‑on leadership position combines strategic oversight with day‑to‑day technical involvement in a fast‑paced AI‑focused startup.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end IT operations for UAE and APAC locations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Manage corporate infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, end‑user devices, audio/video systems, and internal platforms.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents and oversee L1/L2/L3 support.
• Drive AI‑based automation and innovative solutions to improve efficiency.
• Implement and enforce security policies, endpoint protection, access controls, and data‑privacy practices.
• Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, licensing, and asset lifecycle management.
• Establish IT governance, ITIL‑aligned incident, problem, and change management processes.
• Partner with platform engineering on corporate tooling, access management, and collaboration environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading IT operations in a multi‑site environment, preferably within a technology or AI‑focused organization.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, security best practices, and IT service management.
• Ability to mentor and build high‑performing technical teams.
