Key Account Manager – Electrophysiology Division

About the role

Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) Division is seeking a Key Account Manager to lead strategic relationships with major hospital accounts in Dubai. The role focuses on expanding market share for Abbott’s EP product portfolio, which includes disposables, software, and capital equipment, while ensuring profitability and long‑term partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and clinical EP support to physicians and build lasting partnerships.
• Engage with purchasing groups, administrators, and key decision‑makers to influence product adoption.
• Collaborate with patient/physician associations, governmental bodies, and market‑access teams.
• Identify sales opportunities with Regional Sales Managers and manage the sales funnel.
• Analyse data from PowerBI and Salesforce to generate insights and drive business growth.
• Work with the Country Manager and Financial Controller on margin‑improvement initiatives.
• Negotiate contracts, prospect strategic customers, and maintain post‑sale relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key‑account management within the healthcare or medical‑device sector.
• Strong understanding of hospital patient flow and EP clinical environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
