Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the laundry department at Shangri‑La Qaryat Al Beri in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure high‑quality cleaning of linens, uniforms and guest laundry while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all laundry activities, including washing, drying, ironing and handling of garments.
• Manage and schedule the laundry team to meet service demands.
• Monitor laundry equipment performance, report and follow up on maintenance issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and ensure optimal stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and quality standards throughout the department.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of laundry operations, fabrics and cleaning procedures.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and busy periods.
• Presentable, well‑groomed and aligned with luxury service standards.
• 2‑3 years of experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
• High School Diploma; a diploma in Hospitality Management is preferred.
