About the role

We are seeking a mid‑level Backend Development Engineer to join our financial services team in Abu Dhabi. You will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance server‑side applications that support our SaaS platform handling over 100,000 queries per second.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimize backend services using Java, Go, Python or C++.
• Design data pipelines and ETL processes, and work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, ClickHouse and Elasticsearch.
• Implement messaging solutions with Kafka or RabbitMQ and ensure reliable communication between micro‑services.
• Deploy, monitor and scale applications on Linux environments using Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, secure and scalable solutions.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with solid experience in backend development.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced financial services environment.
• Familiarity with high‑throughput systems and performance tuning.
