Costing & Budgeting Manager (CA/CMA)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Costing & Budgeting Manager to lead product costing, manufacturing finance, budgeting and financial planning in a fast‑paced food packaging/FMCG manufacturing environment. The role works closely with production, supply chain, procurement and commercial teams to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end product costing processes within the ERP environment.
• Develop, maintain and validate standard costing structures for all products.
• Analyse raw material, labour, conversion and overhead costs and monitor manufacturing variances.
• Review and validate Bills of Materials, routings and machine rates.
• Ensure accurate allocation of manufacturing overheads and conduct periodic cost reviews.
• Handle costing and manufacturing modules in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and support ERP improvements.
• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing and trading operations.
• Prepare profitability analyses, support monthly MIS reporting and monitor budget utilisation.
• Support inventory valuation, stock reconciliation and compliance with accounting standards.
• Partner with production, procurement, supply chain and commercial teams to provide financial insights for pricing and product mix decisions.

Required profile

• CA or CMA qualification (mandatory).
• 10+ years of post‑qualification experience in manufacturing finance.
• Strong exposure to factory finance, standard costing methodologies and ERP‑based manufacturing accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations preferred.
