Data Operations Engineer

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a Data Operations Engineer to strengthen its data infrastructure across its world‑class attractions in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on building reliable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and supporting analytics and machine‑learning platforms that drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance ETL/ELT pipelines to deliver accurate and timely data.
• Monitor data systems for performance issues, latency, and errors, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident response and root‑cause analysis for data‑related disruptions, ensuring SLA compliance and thorough regression testing.
• Create automation frameworks for data workflows, monitoring and reporting to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI analysts and DevOps teams, documenting processes and best practices.
• Act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders, providing clear updates on data issues and resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• At least 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Operations or a similar role.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong data monitoring, troubleshooting and incident‑management capabilities.
• Automation of data workflows and reporting processes.
