Junior Legal Counsel – Employment & Contracts

About the role

Air Q Limited is looking for a motivated Junior Legal Counsel to support its employment and commercial legal matters. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop in‑house legal expertise while working closely with HR, Operations, and Management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and update employment contracts, offer letters, amendments and related documentation.
• Provide HR guidance on disciplinary actions, notice periods, resignations and terminations, interpreting UAE Labour Law.
• Prepare and manage NDAs, supplier agreements, service agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Maintain contract templates, registers and identify contractual risks for escalation.
• Support negotiations, contract administration and ensure compliance with UAE laws and company policies.
• Coordinate with external counsel on complex matters and maintain organized legal records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; UAE‑focused legal education preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department, or strong internship experience.
• Familiarity with UAE Labour Law and employment regulations.
• Ability to communicate legal concepts clearly to non‑legal stakeholders.
