Mid-level / Senior Lawyer

About the role

The Mid-level / Senior Lawyer will act as the primary legal partner for the business on commercial, product, and marketing matters. Reporting to the Head of Legal, the role involves independent handling of routine and complex issues while enabling the Head of Legal to focus on strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS, vendor, licensing, strategic partnership, and technology contracts.
• Lead negotiations for low and medium‑value agreements and escalate material or strategic issues to the Head of Legal.
• Own product‑related legal matters, providing guidance to product managers and reviewing customer‑facing documentation, platform terms, and click‑wrap agreements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting digital and AI products and advise product stakeholders.
• Support marketing and CRM teams by reviewing promotional materials, campaign designs, and customer communications for legal compliance.
• Assist the Head of Legal on major strategic projects such as joint ventures, market entry, and large‑scale partnerships.
• Conduct legal research, prepare internal memos, and deliver practical advice to business units.
• Deliver training to non‑legal teams on legal risks and processes.
• Manage external counsel, overseeing deliverables, fees, and alignment with budget objectives.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently on routine and complex legal issues.
• Experience in commercial contract drafting, negotiation, and management.
• Familiarity with product development legal frameworks and marketing compliance.
• Capability to support senior leadership on strategic legal projects.
