Project Manager – Design & Construction Consultancy

About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong design and construction consultancy background to act as the primary client representative and the central link between the client and the internal design team. The role demands exceptional leadership, communication, and coordination skills while overseeing multiple design projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the client representative, managing all communication, expectations, approvals, and project decisions.
• Lead coordination between the design team, consultants, and stakeholders to maintain design intent and project alignment.
• Manage multiple design projects at various stages, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Review design packages, drawings, and technical submissions for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, progress reports, risk logs, and action plans.
• Facilitate client meetings, design workshops, and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority requirements, design standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Support tendering, contractor evaluations, and design clarifications during pre‑construction phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related design discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience strictly within design consultancies.
• Strong understanding of the full design lifecycle from concept to IFC.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client‑facing skills.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority processes and approval pathways.
