Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist (American Board Certified, Arabic) – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert, family‑centered care for infants, children and adolescents with gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric gastrointestinal and hepatology disorders.
• Treat conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, GERD, chronic abdominal pain, constipation, liver diseases and feeding disorders.
• Perform pediatric GI procedures, including endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Develop individualized treatment and nutritional management plans.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on gastrointestinal health and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to international clinical standards.
• Participate in quality initiatives, research and continuing medical education activities.

Required profile

• Medical degree with specialization in Pediatrics and Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• American Board certification in Pediatric Gastroenterology (preferred).
• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory).
• Eligibility for, or active, DHA license (preferred).
• Minimum five years of consultant‑level experience.
• Expertise in pediatric endoscopic procedures and advanced GI care.
• Strong communication, leadership and patient‑management abilities.
