Government Relations Officer (UAE – Emirati Nationals Only)

About the role

Kaizen AMS is seeking a proactive Government Relations Officer to act as the primary liaison with UAE government authorities, regulatory bodies, and municipal departments. The role ensures the company stays ahead of property and utility regulations that affect its leasing, facilities, and overall operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and collect updates on laws, circulars, and directives from authorities such as Dubai Land Department, RERA, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, SIRA, and DDA.
• Maintain a Government Relations Register, categorising updates by authority, risk level, and business impact.
• Assess operational impact of regulatory changes on Leasing, Operations, Property Management, Facilities, Sales, Brokerage, and Finance.
• Prepare impact assessment notes, actionable guidance, and executive summaries for senior leadership.
• Escalate urgent regulatory changes to the Compliance Manager.
• Maintain a dashboard tracking updates, trends, and departmental impact.
• Support internal communication of regulatory updates and lead awareness sessions.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key government stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Policy, Business Administration or a related field.
• Emirati national with a valid Family Book.
• 3‑5 years of experience in government relations, regulatory compliance, or a similar role within property management or real estate.
• Strong knowledge of UAE property, utility and municipal regulations.
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
