HR Onboarding Manager

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead its onboarding and offboarding operations. The manager will oversee a high‑volume, high‑performing team delivering seamless employee lifecycle experiences for cabin crew, pilots, technical staff, and corporate employees across the UAE and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a dedicated onboarding/offboarding team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding for high‑volume hiring populations, ensuring a smooth transition from offer acceptance to first day.
• Oversee offboarding processes, guaranteeing accurate clearances, compliance and stakeholder coordination within SLAs.
• Partner with Payroll, Government Relations, HR Business Partners, Recruitment and other internal units to ensure seamless employee transitions.
• Maintain relationships with external partners such as hotels, relocation providers and travel agencies.
• Drive process optimisation, automation and AI‑enabled solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Administer onboarding technologies, including Employee Central and SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour regulations, internal governance and company policies.
• Monitor KPIs and CSAT metrics, implementing improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading high‑performing HR onboarding/offboarding teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour regulations and corporate governance standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple internal and external partners.
• Track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
