Indirect Tax Manager – Advisory (VAT)

About the role

PWC is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to lead VAT compliance and advisory services for clients in the real‑estate and hospitality sectors across the UAE. The role combines technical tax expertise with leadership, coaching, and the use of data‑analytics tools to deliver high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end VAT return compliance and advisory engagements for real‑estate and hospitality clients.
• Manage client relationships to ensure timely delivery of services and maintain high satisfaction.
• Utilise data‑analytics platforms such as Alteryx and Power BI to enhance compliance deliverables and provide actionable insights.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members across PwC network offices, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Uphold PwC’s professional standards, code of conduct and independence requirements throughout engagements.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities that align with the firm’s strategy.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of hands‑on UAE VAT experience, preferably within the real‑estate or hospitality sectors.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver complex tax projects.
• Strong structured‑thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and team‑development skills.
