About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an enthusiastic Islamic Teacher (Native & Non‑Native) to join Al Shohub Private School, a British‑curriculum primary school in Khalifa City A, Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering high‑quality Islamic studies to a predominantly Emirati student body while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Islamic lessons that cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Assess and monitor student progress in line with school assessment policies.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Islamic content across the curriculum.
• Maintain a well‑organized classroom, including learning resources and displays.
• Communicate regularly with parents to support student wellbeing and academic outcomes.
• Work flexibly with curriculum support staff and contribute to school‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Islamic curriculum and its alignment with the British curriculum.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the school community.
• Commitment to building positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Ability to reflect on teaching practice and adapt methods to improve learning.
• Alignment with the values and ethos of the Emirati community and ADEK regulations.
