IT Helpdesk Officer – Temporary

About the role

The IT Helpdesk Officer provides Level 1, 24/7 support for ENOC’s computer applications and platforms. The role ensures secure, reliable operation of user support services, network, servers and applications through monitoring tools and remote troubleshooting.

Key responsibilities

• Implement approved help‑desk policies, processes, standards and SOPs.
• Manage, process and assign IT service requests, work requests, change requests, incidents and tasks.
• Maintain user accounts in Active Directory, create mailboxes, perform migrations and assign licenses in Exchange and Skype.
• Prioritise critical fueling and payment issues to avoid service interruption.
• Cross‑verify online product transactions using MS SQL and TOAD.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents on VMware servers related to fueling, POS and Verifone systems.
• Monitor recurring events, raise problem tickets and communicate IT activities to end‑users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of general IT experience, including ~1 year in help‑desk operations.
• Experience troubleshooting Microsoft products in a network environment.
• Knowledge of PC, mobile, laptop and tablet hardware installation and configuration.
