IT Systems Specialist – Emirates Talent

About the role

ADVANCED CONCEPTS, an EDGE entity focused on cutting‑edge autonomous systems, is seeking an IT Systems Specialist to support its high‑technology projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of server and operating system environments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and operating systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Administer databases, backups, and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Apply OS and application patches, monitor performance, and optimize services.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Collaborate with IT support staff and other departments to resolve incidents.
• Support IT policy development and provide user training.
• Liaise with vendors for purchases, upgrades, and support.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure administration experience.
• At least 3 years in a system management role for a mid‑sized organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., Microsoft Certified Windows Server, CCNA, VCP).
• Strong understanding of NIST 800‑53, CNSSI 1253, data classification, and least‑privilege access.
