About the role

Unity Infotech is seeking an experienced Java Backend Engineer to design and deliver secure, high‑performance microservices for its fintech and digital banking platforms. You will work on mission‑critical applications that enable payments, cheque clearing, and other financial services across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java 17+ backend services, APIs and micro‑services using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Spring Security.
Build RESTful and event‑driven APIs that comply with enterprise security standards.
Deploy cloud‑native applications on Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker and Azure DevOps pipelines.
Implement API security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT and mTLS.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, security and product teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
Troubleshoot production incidents, optimise performance and participate in CI/CD, code reviews and Agile ceremonies.

Required profile

5+ years of professional backend development experience, preferably 7+ years.
Strong background in fintech, banking or payments domains.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
