About the role

The Arab Monetary Fund is seeking a Legal Specialist to provide comprehensive legal support and advisory services across the organization. The role ensures compliance with applicable laws, manages legal risks, and assists business units through contract reviews, legal opinions, and policy development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support and advisory services throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Manage legal risks and support business units through contract reviews.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents.
• Prepare legal opinions and contribute to the development of internal policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in international organizations, financial institutions or reputable law firms.
• Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) required; a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Professional legal certification or bar admission preferred; must be a registered lawyer.
• Strong experience in contract drafting, legal advisory and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with financial, commercial or international law is considered an advantage.
