Paralegal – Fintech & Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Paralegal to join our in‑house Legal Department, supporting fintech, financial services and corporate matters across multiple jurisdictions. The role will involve drafting and reviewing contracts, managing corporate records and assisting with regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and maintain legal documents such as service agreements, NDAs, partnership agreements, employment contracts and corporate resolutions.
• Prepare and update corporate records including share registers, structure charts and statutory filings.
• Support company formation, licensing and renewal processes in UAE free zones and other relevant jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external counsel, management companies and regulators on submissions, renewals and compliance matters.
• Research fintech and financial regulatory frameworks, including brokerage licensing, payments and AML/CFT obligations.
• Maintain contract and document management systems to ensure version control and proper archiving.
• Assist internal projects involving due diligence, onboarding and document verification.
• Handle document execution, notarization, legalization and apostille procedures.
• Draft internal summaries, memos and correspondence related to legal and regulatory issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies or related discipline; paralegal certification preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in an in‑house legal department or law firm, ideally within financial services or fintech.
• Solid understanding of UAE free‑zone and international corporate frameworks (e.g., Cyprus, Mauritius).
• Strong contract drafting, proofreading and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines and work independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic or French is an advantage.
