People & Culture Officer – Junior

About the role
As a Junior People & Culture Officer you will support the day‑to‑day HR operations of ALEC Holdings, a leading construction group in the UAE. You will work closely with employees across all levels, providing proactive administrative assistance and ensuring compliance with local labour regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide daily People & Culture administrative support across the business.
- Maintain accurate employee data in HR systems and databases.
- Respond to employee queries promptly and professionally.
- Assist with employee relations matters and escalate issues when needed.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws, internal policies, and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports and support internal and external audits.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Administer HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.
- Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of UAE employment law.
- Experience working with HR metrics, data, and reporting.
- Excellent planning, organisational and coordination abilities.
- Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
