Planning Engineer

About the role

The Planning Engineer will develop and maintain detailed project baseline programmes, ensuring alignment with approved planning processes. Working closely with the Estimation and Project Managers, the role supports the efficient execution of civil and marine projects, including dredging works.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed baseline programmes in line with the Planning Process and Procedures Manual.
• Develop manpower and equipment schedules in collaboration with Estimation and Project Managers.
• Update and monitor project progress and productivity against the approved baseline.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly progress reports and KPI sheets.
• Generate daily progress drawings together with the Survey/Drafting Department.
• Create monthly meeting presentations and related planning documents.
• Analyse planning data and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with project team members to gather data for planning purposes.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in programme management, planning, scheduling and project control.
• Experience in dredging and civil marine projects is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Primavera P6.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel).
