Regional Landscape Architecture Lead

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking an accomplished Regional Landscape Architecture Lead for the Middle East to steer the strategic, creative and operational direction of its Landscape Architecture practice from the Abu Dhabi design hub. This senior position will shape large‑scale public realm projects across the region, driving sustainability and design excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute regional strategy, market growth and P&L performance for the Landscape Architecture division.
• Champion design excellence, sustainability and innovation throughout all project phases.
• Build, mentor and grow a high‑performing team of landscape architects.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, Engineering and Environmental teams.
• Oversee project delivery, resource planning, design quality and risk management.
• Engage with clients, government bodies and industry stakeholders to secure and deliver major landscape and public realm projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including senior leadership roles in the Middle East.
• Proven portfolio of large‑scale landscape and public realm projects.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L and business development experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication and client‑facing skills.

• Knowledge of regional market dynamics, client requirements and regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in managing multidisciplinary projects from concept to delivery.
• High‑level communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities.
