Registered Nurse – Healthcare Screening

About the role

The Registered Nurse will join the nursing team at Capital Health Screening Centre in Abu Dhabi, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced health‑screening environment. Reporting to the Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager, the role supports clinical and operational goals while ensuring compliance with DOH/DHA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide initial and ongoing nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and nursing interventions according to clinical guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical pathways, policies, and evidence‑based practices.
• Educate patients and families to support care management and preventive health.
• Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to prioritize care and escalate concerns.
• Document care, maintain effective communication, and ensure continuity of patient care.
• Participate in audits, quality‑improvement initiatives, and educational/research activities.
• Mentor and support junior staff, providing guidance and constructive feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid DOH medical license.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Strong communication skills, clinical judgment, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – preferred.
• Valid DOH medical licensing.
