Resident Engineer / Assistant Resident Engineer – Construction Supervision

About the role

We are seeking experienced Resident Engineers or Assistant Resident Engineers to join Surbana Jurong’s construction supervision team for a large‑scale infrastructure development in Dubai. The role involves on‑site leadership, ensuring that works are delivered to the required quality, safety and schedule while complying with contract specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all construction activities on‑site.
• Ensure contractor compliance with drawings, specifications and contract requirements.
• Manage site supervision teams, including inspectors and engineers.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, quality and safety of works.
• Review method statements, shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Support reporting, risk management and contract administration.

Required profile

• 10–20 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction supervision of large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Previous experience in the UAE is an advantage.
