Senior QHSSE Manager – MENA Region

About the role

The Senior QHSSE Manager will lead the compliance and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality systems for Interwell across the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. Reporting to regional leadership, you will shape strategy, oversee audits, and ensure alignment with client and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on regional and client QHSSE requirements to both MENA and global teams.
• Develop, implement and drive QHSSE strategies, policies and procedures for the region.
• Plan, coordinate and execute regional assurance programs, internal audits and supplier audits.
• Monitor compliance with legislation, client contracts and maintain legal and risk registers.
• Lead incident investigations, manage non‑conformities and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Prepare and present monthly KPI reports, analyse performance trends and define improvement actions.
• Act as the regional QHSSE Management Representative, overseeing ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2 compliance and certification audits.
• Own the Emergency Response Plan for MENA and contribute to the regional Contingency Plan.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in QHSSE management within the oil & gas or energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, API Q1/Q2 standards and IFS reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audits, incident investigations and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and experience mentoring QHSSE teams.
