Senior Structural Engineer (Buildings & Towers)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and coordination of a diverse portfolio of building projects, including high‑rise towers, commercial complexes, and mixed‑use developments in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, preliminary and detailed design of reinforced concrete and steel structures using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro or Robot.
• Develop 3D structural models, verify analytical results, and produce structural drawings, reinforcement details and calculation reports.
• Design foundations, retaining walls, shear walls, transfer beams and slabs, and conduct seismic and wind load analysis per relevant codes.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers and geotechnical consultants, attend design meetings and support tendering and construction phases.
• Review shop drawings, connection details, method statements and material submittals to ensure compliance.
• Maintain quality assurance procedures, prepare design reports for authority approvals and manage document control.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, review deliverables and contribute to internal design standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8–15 years of experience in structural design of high‑rise buildings and mixed‑use projects.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and manage coordination with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Required skills

• ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, Robot Structural Analysis.
• Reinforced concrete and steel design.
• Foundation design (isolated, combined, raft, pile).
• Seismic and wind load analysis (ASCE 7, UBC, Eurocode 8).
• Preparation of structural drawings, reinforcement detailing and calculation reports.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes (BS EN 1990‑1999), ACI 318, AISC, BS 8110, local authority standards.
