Senior Transport Planner and Modeller

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Transport Planner and Modeller to join Egis in Dubai. In this role you will lead the creation and implementation of sophisticated transport modelling solutions that support urban mobility strategies across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, calibrate and validate advanced transport models using industry‑standard software such as VISUM, CUBE or AIMSUN.
• Conduct comprehensive transportation studies, including traffic impact assessments, corridor analyses and feasibility studies for major infrastructure projects.
• Analyse large transportation data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Design and run scenario modelling to evaluate the effects of proposed interventions, policy changes and investment options.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, urban planners and government agencies to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations and visualisations for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging transport planning methodologies, modelling tools and best practices.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.

Required profile

• Significant experience in transport planning and modelling, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to work with complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical results to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.
