A320 Captain Instructor – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Etihad is seeking an experienced A320 Captain to join its Instruction team in Abu Dhabi. You will combine line‑flying duties with training responsibilities, helping to develop the next generation of pilots while maintaining the highest safety and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Command A320 flights, ensuring safety, security, and on‑time performance.
• Deliver high‑quality flight‑training sessions on full‑flight simulators (FFS/FTD) and line‑evaluation programmes.
• Lead and mentor flight and cabin crews, applying effective crew‑resource‑management techniques.
• Support fleet management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with Etihad’s fuel‑efficiency and sustainability policies.

Required profile

• Current A320 Captain with a valid UAE or equivalent licence.
• Minimum 5 years of line‑flying experience on commercial aircraft.
• Demonstrated ability to train and evaluate pilots in a simulator environment.
• Strong decision‑making, leadership and communication skills.

Required skills

• A320 type‑rating and operational proficiency.
• Flight‑simulator training delivery (FFS/FTD).
• Line Evaluation of Competence (LEC) procedures.
