A/C Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a motivated A/C Technician to join the maintenance team at Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing and repairing air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment throughout the hotel, ensuring guest comfort and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air‑conditioning and refrigeration plant.
• Inspect and verify door sealing systems on walk‑in coolers and freezers.
• Maintain defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all hotel departments.
• Clean fan coil units and air‑handling unit filters regularly.
• Monitor performance of air‑conditioning and chilled‑water systems.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to diagnose failures and set up system functions.
• Control venting of CFCs and ensure compliance with technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in refrigeration maintenance or building services engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a hotel or large facility.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to identify faults and rectify subsystems independently.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on and adaptable to unpredictable situations.
