A/C Technician

About the role

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is seeking a skilled A/C Technician to join the facilities team at its Desert Islands Resort & Spa in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure that all air‑conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Install, inspect, service, maintain and repair split AC units, package units, VRF/VRV systems, fan coil units, air handling units, exhaust fans and related ventilation equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
• Respond promptly to guest and department maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems in guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house, offices, restaurants and kitchens.
• Clean and maintain indoor/outdoor units, filters, coils, drain lines and ventilation ducts.
• Check refrigerant levels, locate leaks and perform charging or recovery in line with environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 12 months hands‑on experience with hotel or commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety procedures and maintain high service standards.
