AC Technician

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AC Technician to join our team at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR. The role involves ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of the hotel’s building systems, utilities, equipment, fixtures and furnishings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of premises, HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on air‑conditioning, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Install, service and repair various air‑conditioning units including split, window, central and chiller systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical and plumbing issues promptly.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns, minimizing operational disruption.
• Monitor AC performance, refrigerant levels, compressors and thermostats to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain and clean filters, coils, ducts and ventilation components.
• Keep accurate service logs, inventory records and coordinate with external contractors when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in general building maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and relevant safety regulations.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.

Required skills

• HVAC system installation, service and repair.
• Air‑conditioning unit types (split, window, central, chillers).
• Basic electrical and plumbing troubleshooting.
• Use of maintenance management software.
