AC Technician – Luxury Resort in Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a skilled AC Technician to join the Engineering team at Meliá Desert Palm, a luxury urban resort in Dubai. You will ensure the resort’s heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration systems operate safely and efficiently, providing guests with optimal comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment throughout the resort.
• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance in line with hotel standards.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Conduct daily inspections, record operating readings and report abnormalities.
• Clean, adjust and service systems to maintain performance and energy efficiency.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and fire‑brigade duties.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, tool inventories and ensure safe storage of equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals to complete repairs.
• Support sustainability initiatives by promoting energy‑efficient operation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an AC/HVAC technician in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and guest comfort.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including fire‑brigade participation.
• Willingness to support energy‑saving and waste‑reduction initiatives.
