Account Manager – Digital & Social Media

About the role

ALÓCommunication is a boutique communications agency that treats social media as a real‑time conversation. We are looking for a proactive Digital Account Manager who lives and breathes social platforms and can drive fast‑moving digital culture in the GCC.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage regional and local client accounts with a social‑first strategy.
• Develop and present social media strategies, content plans and campaign concepts.
• Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring seamless communication and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with creative, content and media teams to deliver high‑quality work on schedule.
• Oversee content calendars, campaign roll‑outs and platform‑specific executions.
• Monitor performance metrics, provide actionable insights and optimise campaigns.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social trends, platform updates and audience behaviour.
• Identify up‑selling and cross‑selling opportunities for digital and social services.
• Support new‑business pitches with social‑first ideas and presentations.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in a digital or social media agency.
• Based in Dubai or the GCC with deep cultural fluency.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent communication, presentation and client‑management abilities.
• Strong organisational, multitasking and collaborative mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X and YouTube.
• Experience managing and growing brand social media accounts.
• Ability to create content strategies, influencer collaborations and digital campaigns.
