Account Manager – Hedge Fund Accounting

About the role

The Apex Group is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead its hedge fund accounting team in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure the accuracy of fund books, meet regulatory standards, and act as a trusted partner to clients while driving team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Fund Accounting team, ensuring accurate hedge fund records and compliance with industry regulations.
• Lead and develop a team of fund accountants, including performance reviews, knowledge development and control processes.
• Review daily Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, P&L analysis, cash projections, FX transfers, and reconcile positions and values.
• Manage auditor relationships, prepare year‑end financial statements and oversee month‑end control packs.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and support future growth.

Required profile

• 7–10+ years of experience in hedge fund accounting, including team leadership and NAV review.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA or ACA qualification preferred.
