Account Officer – Security Operations

About the role

The Account Officer – Security Operations will oversee on‑site security staff, ensure compliance with client Service Level Agreements, and act as the primary liaison for client relationships. This role supports operational excellence across multiple contracts while coordinating with internal departments such as Business Development, Finance, and HR.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy on‑site staff, verify grooming standards, training completion, and valid SIRA licences.
• Maintain delivery of client SLAs and resolve operational anomalies identified during site inspections.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients to strengthen relationships and ensure high retention.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Finance, and HR to meet operational requirements for new and existing contracts.
• Supervise attendance records, job charts, and billing data submission to Finance.
• Monitor contract tenure and manage timely renewals with internal stakeholders.
• Forecast manpower needs, including mobilisation, demobilisation, and replacements.
• Conduct regular security surveys and annual site consultations to identify improvements.
• Oversee physical guarding mobilisation milestones and provide feedback until handover.
• Identify potential leads and generate enquiries to support cross‑selling and revenue growth.
• Implement continuous training programmes for staff to ensure operational readiness.
• Manage staff performance reviews and initiate disciplinary actions when required.
• Promote a diverse work environment and enforce anti‑discrimination policies.
• Supervise implementation of HSE regulations, emergency response plans, and accident investigations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to identify potential clients and generate enquiries.
• Willingness to perform any additional tasks assigned by the line manager.
