About the role

The Account Technical Lead (ATL) is a senior technical sales professional who drives Autodesk’s solution strategy across a portfolio of accounts or territories. Acting as the technical quarterback, the ATL aligns product offerings with customer business outcomes, orchestrates technical resources, and ensures consistent, high‑impact execution throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and own the technical strategy for assigned accounts, translating discovery insights into clear solution approaches.
  • Coordinate technical specialists, partners, and solution experts to deliver tailored engagements at the right depth and scale.
  • Lead discovery sessions that connect customer pain points to measurable business outcomes using tools such as the Value Management Platform and Customer Outcome Proposals.
  • Partner with Account Executives to shape deal strategy, identify expansion opportunities, and mitigate risks.
  • Engage with technical and business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on digital transformation and platform adoption.
  • Provide technical leadership and enablement to internal teams, ensuring consistent messaging and solution positioning.

Required profile

  • Proven senior‑level experience in technical sales or solution architecture within enterprise software.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, orchestrate multi‑disciplinary engagements, and influence deal outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills for executive‑level conversations and stakeholder alignment.
