Accountant (Chinese Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant who is fluent in both English and Chinese to join our Dubai team. Working under the guidance of an FTA‑approved tax agent, you will manage daily financial operations, ensure compliance with UAE regulations, and support financial reporting and tax activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record daily transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare independent financial reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
• Execute monthly and year‑end closing, handling reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
• Manage end‑to‑end VAT preparation and filing in line with UAE tax law.
• Develop budgets, cash‑flow analyses, and financial forecasts for management review.
• Maintain complete accounting documentation and act as the primary contact for external auditors.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Chinese (verbal and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; ACCA or similar certification is a plus.
• 4‑5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and UAE tax regulations.
