Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Dubai team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate records, and supporting the company’s reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare sales and purchase invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Perform bank, cash, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Monitor petty cash and company expenses.
• Follow up on customer outstanding balances and supplier payments.
• Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
• Assist with month‑end closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Handle UAE VAT‑related accounting and documentation.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting records and coordinate with suppliers, customers, banks, auditors, and internal departments.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE regulations.
• Experience with VAT, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
