Accountant – Dubai

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to oversee financial reporting, month‑end closings and tax compliance for our Dubai office. The role involves managing audit processes, implementing financial policies and ensuring accurate bookkeeping across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Examine account and system‑related reports to provide accurate assessments.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing procedures.
• Prepare tax computations, returns and ensure timely filing of taxes.
• Coordinate the annual external audit and manage audit documentation.
• Reconcile bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
• Generate financial reports using income and expenditure data.
• Implement and manage financial and accounting software, including ERP applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with 6‑8 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of balance sheets, cash flow management, forecasting and profitability.
• Proficient in GAAP and other accounting standards.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Bilingual in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• ERP applications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint.
• Accounting software and data‑entry tools.
• Advanced spreadsheet modelling.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
