Accountant – Finance Operations & Credit Card Management

About the role

The accountant will coordinate finance‑related operational and administrative activities that support the Accounting and Finance function in Dubai. The role centralises key processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, proper controls and business continuity while allowing the accounting team to focus on core reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Corporate Credit Card Management – oversee issuance, cancellation, policy compliance, collect documentation, prepare payment requests, reconcile monthly transactions.
• Travel & Entertainment (T&E) Administration – review employee travel and entertainment expense submissions, ensure policy compliance, follow up on missing documentation, support reporting and analysis.
• Petty Cash Management – maintain petty cash funds, process reimbursements with supporting documents, perform periodic reconciliations and keep accurate records.
• Financial Control & Reporting Support – assist with reconciliations and operational reporting, maintain audit‑ready documentation, ensure internal control compliance, provide backup support during absences or peak periods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Independent work style with a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills for inter‑departmental coordination.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
