Accountant (Finance & Systems)

About the role

The company is an expanding restaurant group in Dubai seeking an Accountant who will bridge financial data with operational performance across multiple outlets. You will work closely with the Senior Accountant to ensure accurate reporting and support data‑driven decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day general accounting tasks, ledger entries and financial records.
• Extract, reconcile and analyse POS transaction data and sales logs for all dining outlets.
• Track food‑cost percentages, audit supplier price changes and monitor store‑level expenses.
• Audit vendor invoices, verify payment vouchers and uphold internal financial controls.
• Assist in evaluating, implementing and streamlining financial software, reporting tools and workflow systems.
• Conduct site visits to align financial reporting with floor‑level restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; pursuing ACCA, CMA, CA or CPA is a plus.
• 1–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in F&B, hospitality or multi‑outlet retail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data linking).
• Experience with POS system integration and general accounting software.
• Data analysis and financial reporting.
