Accountant – Finance Team (Dubai)

About the role

Diraya Consultants LLC is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its growing finance team in Dubai. The role involves supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance and client coordination across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers, books of accounts, and accurate financial records.
• Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and payment records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and MIS reports.
• Support UAE VAT and corporate tax calculations, filings, and compliance activities.
• Assist with audit preparation and financial data reviews.
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting and tax‑related requirements.
• Support improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
• Manage multiple client accounts while ensuring deadlines are met.

Required profile

• Semi‑Qualified CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 2 + years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of Tally software.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Basic to good understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Experience in an accounting or tax consultancy firm is an advantage.
