Accountant – Full-time, On-site in Dubai

About the role
We are looking for a full-time Accountant to join our Dubai restaurant team. The role is based on-site and involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records for the business.
Key responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, track expenses and support payroll and inventory accounting.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and audit activities while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA a plus.
- Previous accounting experience in hospitality or food-service environment.
- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles and UAE financial regulations.
- Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheet modelling and basic data analysis.
