Accountant

About the role

Our client, a manufacturing company based in Abu Dhabi, is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support daily accounting and treasury operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, coordinating cash‑flow activities and preparing reports for management.

Key responsibilities

• Process day‑to‑day accounting tasks such as journal entries, reconciliations and record maintenance.
• Support treasury functions by monitoring cash flow, handling bank transactions and processing payments.
• Prepare financial statements, reports and supporting documentation for management review.
• Coordinate with banks and internal departments on financial and treasury matters.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure timely transactions.
• Contribute to month‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensure compliance with company procedures and regional regulations.
• Liaise with auditors and provide required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in treasury operations or accounting.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
