Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will join STAR TRACK's finance team in Dubai, handling day‑to‑day financial operations and supporting month‑end and year‑end close processes. This full‑time, on‑site position offers the opportunity to work across a multinational consumer‑electronics business.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Prepare documentation for audits and tax filings.
• Provide financial analysis to internal departments.
• Maintain records in accounting systems and contribute to process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong general accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable.
• Knowledge of UAE accounting standards and tax compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in consumer electronics, retail or manufacturing is beneficial.
