Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. The role involves managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Record and process daily journal entries for receivables, revenue and other transactions.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and verify balances.
• Prepare, review and post expense payments, validating supporting documentation.
• Verify, allocate and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensure timely reporting.
• Maintain organized financial records for audit, compliance and internal control.
• Ensure all transactions comply with applicable laws, tax regulations and company policies.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit tax declarations and statutory filings on time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
