About the role

Afnan Auto Used Spare Parts Trading S.P LLC is seeking an Accountant to support accurate financial operations and maintain clear, timely records for purchasing, inventory, sales, and day‑to‑day business activities. The role involves recording daily transactions and preparing financial summaries for management review.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries accurately.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records, follow up on outstanding balances and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
• Perform bank, cash, inventory‑related and ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare periodic financial summaries, expense reports and supporting schedules for management review.
• Assist with inventory costing and accounting records for used and genuine automotive spare parts.
• Organize invoices, vouchers, purchase documents and other records.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of double‑entry bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance.
• Practical experience with bank, cash, customer, supplier and inventory reconciliations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering and financial schedules.
• Ability to use accounting software, maintain accurate digital and physical records and protect confidential financial information.
• Good understanding of invoice verification, payment processing, expense control and document matching.
• Knowledge of UAE business practices, VAT and basic tax documentation is an advantage.
