Accountant – Project Finance (Renovation & Fit‑out)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our renovation and fit‑out projects. You will be responsible for tracking costs, processing transactions, ensuring compliance, and supporting audits to guarantee accurate project finances.

Key responsibilities

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial records for multiple renovation and fit‑out projects.
• Monitor and track project costs, including materials, subcontractors, labour, and change orders.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and verifying purchase orders and related payments.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors; assess BOQs and manage purchase orders.
• Validate invoices against contracts, reconcile accounts, and support dispute resolution with the legal team.
• Prepare project financial and VAT reports and coordinate with site, procurement, and subcontractor teams.
• Support audits by providing required financial documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or interior fit‑out.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles such as WIP and cost codes.
• Experience with VAT filings and regional tax regulations.
