Accountant – Property Management & Holiday Homes

About the role

Roomy Property Management & Holiday Homes is seeking a proactive Accountant to manage the financial operations of its growing portfolio of furnished apartments in Dubai. You will handle day‑to‑day bookkeeping, ensure accurate reporting, and support the finance function for multiple property entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full‑cycle bookkeeping across several business entities using cloud accounting software (Zoho Books, Xero or QuickBooks).
• Reconcile bank and corporate card statements and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and issue invoices, track expenses, and support payroll processing.
• Produce monthly financial statements, including profit & loss, cash flow, and balance sheet.
• Generate project‑level financial reports for renovation initiatives.
• Manage end‑to‑end VAT compliance and quarterly filings with the UAE Federal Tax Authority.
• Handle UAE corporate tax compliance, including annual return preparation and filing.
• Assist with financial audits and respond to ad‑hoc reporting requests from leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience in the UAE.
• Proven ability to manage VAT and corporate tax filings independently.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Zoho Books (preferred) or Xero / QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
